Early Life & Education

Pauline Lenguris was born and raised in Samburu County, where she began her educational journey at Lodokejek Primary School from 1983 to 1990, earning her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).

She continued to Kisima Secondary School between 1991 and 1994, where she completed her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). Her determination to serve her community led her to pursue nursing education.

In 1995, she enrolled at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), obtaining a Certificate in Community Health Nursing in 1998. Seeking broader developmental knowledge, she went to Kleinmond, South Africa, where she earned a Diploma in Development Education from 2004 to 2005.

Her commitment to education continued as she returned to Kenya to join Mount Kenya University, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from 2013 to 2016. Following her diploma studies in South Africa, she became actively involved in community development initiatives, integrating health services with gender and development training.
